Several months ago, a couple of board members decided they would plant some flowers at the corner of Harvest Ridge Drive and Plantation Lane (near the big pond).  That way, it would save some money--not hiring a landscaper to do the work.  About a month ago, several board members (and a homeowner?) planted some flowers -- including a number of daisies (on the right side of the photo attached).  After our 90-degree-plus temperatures last week, all the petals have dropped off the daisies and other plants don't look in the best of health, either.  Maybe a landscaper would have made more heat-tolerant choices?

7/11/22 update (an email from Sentry Management):
...after that planting, it was discovered that the pump that supplies water from the lake to that area and the area around the gazebo, had burnt out.  A board member is trying to keep them watered as the new pump has been ordered but we do not have a timeframe on when it will be in.
