Our homeowners’ covenants, written by the developer in 1994, are old and in some places outdated or vague.
I’ve been told that previous HOA board(s) discussed revising them but dismissed it because of the time and cost involved.
My proposal: Let’s work together to discuss the covenants, what should stay, what should go, and what should be revised.
The group’s final product can then be presented to the Board. If the Board approves, an attorney can be hired to help with then necessary legal work.
Any amendment or revision will require a majority vote of the homeowners (we’ll need about 104 homeowners to approve).
This is not a HOA-endorsed or board-endorsed effort; it’s a proposal by one homeowner.
I call it the Harvest Ridge Group.

I totally agree. The current board is like the Mofia. They have no power but think they do.
You are so right, Beth and Jay! Oh that we could come together as a community to make our little place on this earth a better one!!
